MEET DR. SHIRAZ FAROOQ
Dr. Shiraz Farooq has been practicing medicine and surgery in Tampa for over ten years. His medical and surgical career began overseas, where he received multiple academic gold medals and awards for his expertise. Dr. Farooq spent five years in surgical residency as well as two years in fellowship training, including Critical Care Surgery and Colon and Rectal Surgery in New York and Ohio. When his private clinical concept became a reality, ColoWell America became Tampa’s first premier colorectal surgical practice of it’s kind, optimizing care options with holistic methods and blending modern and state-of-the-art non-surgical and surgical expertise to treat common gastrointestinal and colorectal conditions. Intending to move traditional medical and surgical care in a forward-thinking direction for the 21st century, Dr. Farooq became trained in plant-medicine and certified in Florida as a Medical Cannabis Doctor.
